The You have something special. You have greatness in you.

Hello, this is Les Brown, Mrs. Mamie Brown's baby boy.

I heard a friend was engaged in a conversation and she said something that I overheard,

and I was surprised.

And whenever I hear someone say this, it always surprised me.

And I look at them with a raised eyebrow.

She was asked to question, is there anything that you regret, anything in your life,

and any area of your life? And she said, no, I'll have any regrets. I don't believe that.

And the reason I say that is because if we really take a serious look at it, that all of us have

something that we can look at some area of our lives when we were younger, when we made some

decisions that were painful and hurtful to others or painful and hurtful to ourselves, and we wish we hadn't done it.

Or we thought about something we wanted to do, and we ruled that out for ourselves, and had we

had more confidence in ourselves, and in a spirit of optimism and determination, that we would have done those things.

You know, most people go through life imitating what they see around them.

Monkey see, monkey do.

And it happens unconsciously.

And so I remember as a kid, I never saw people with tattoos. And guess what?

In the prisons, the reason why people have tattoos in prison, because it's against the rules in

prison to write on the wall. So their board have nothing to do, so they start drawing on each other.

And so many people that have been incarcerated once they are released and the tattoo population

became so prevalent and you see them everywhere, then people started saying, oh, I need a tattoo.
