I think the use of masks is going to become more normalized.

I think people are going to use them on a voluntary basis.

And certainly people who are at higher risk from COVID, bad COVID outcomes or from influenza.

But I think going to work with the sniffles is going to be frowned upon.

I think businesses are going to have access to routine testing.

I think there might be symptom checks within certain settings.

If you have a Congress setting where a lot of people are getting together and might check

symptoms, fever guns might become more routine, even though they're not that helpful.

I think you're going to see a veneer of safety superimposed upon normal life.

Huh.

Is that good or bad?

Are we getting too caught up in that last tiny little fraction of safety?

That's what I was about to say, echoing my final words last hour.

There are civilizations that are on the march that are all about what do we have to get

done, China most notably.

And there are civilizations that are worried about that last degree of safety or weather

lobsters have feelings and those civilizations get crushed.

So I'm just trying to think this sure.
