In Britain this morning, the first doses of a coronavirus vaccine from Pfizer and Biontech have been administered.

90-year-old Margaret Keenan became the first person in the world outside of clinical trials to receive the jab,

and a round of applause for it.

That same vaccine is still awaiting emergency authorization in America.

Protocols there have been a bit more prolonged,

and authorities promised a public hearing before approval.
