The MBA schedule will be released this afternoon,

although there have been several leaks and it appears that the Kings will open up

the season at home this year against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

They also seem to have a very daunting stretch towards the end of the season for their home slate.

But as Jerry Reynolds has always said, you play 41 at home and 41 on the road unless of course you're

You know, I think that we have a tendency to overreact to the schedule.

Things change based on injuries, although last year,

I don't think I overreacted when I saw the schedule in March which had the Kings

playing at Orlando on the back end of a three-game trip and then two nights later they

started a home and home against the Dallas Mavericks but not home

in Sacramento and home in Dallas home Sacramento and the next night home

Sacramento those were the biggest games of the year. Three games in four nights in three

different time zones. That's just wrong. You should not play on the East Coast on a

night, travel across country, and then the very next night, meaning you land normally at two or three in a morning, the next night, all right, with only one day off have to play again.
