finally heading in the right direction with smart moves something that has not happened for pretty

much the entire century i mean really you got to go back to the early 2000s the raiders last

playoff win here we are in 2026. The number one

overall pick looks like they're going to take Fernando Mendoza. That's a 99% certainty. Well,

yesterday they signed veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins, 37th. The guy can still play. I love this.

Let them compete in camp. May the best man get the job

week one. And if it's cousins, no problem. He can mentor the young quarterback. Bring him

along until he's ready to go. I love that. I mean, there's no reason, no reason at all to rush

your top quarterback onto the field.

We've seen so many examples of quarterbacks getting thrown into the action too soon,

and it really stunts their growth.

This is a good move.

This is a win-win.

A consummate professional and cousins certainly will have no issues at all in helping the young quarterback along. And if Mendoza is named the Stoning quarterback, again, he'll have an ally in the room in the name of Kirk Cousins. Good move for the Raiders. And I don't say that very often. But this, I love. I think it is a very good move for the silver and black. That's my rant for it today. A lot to talk about at 3 o'clock.
