Remember just a few weeks ago, Thursday Night Football in Nashville, Tennessee. The 49ers lose to the Titans and the

fans and members of the media in San Francisco were all over Jimmy Garopolo and then a few days later it was revealed that during

that game in the second quarter he tore a ligament and his thumb also has a

fracture in his thumb he did not play the following week, Trey Lance did, and it was the 49ers winning and Lance looked good in the second half.

And once again it was like, well the Trey Lance era has begun and I came on and did a rant

saying that I thought Jimmy Garopolo was one of the most under-appreciated players

in the NFL. What 49 of fans do you still under appreciate Garopolo based on what he did on Sunday,

playing with that thumb injury and propelling the 49ers to a victory against the Rams, Grapolo once again was very very good.

Bottom line your best chance to win is with Jimmy G at quarterback. With Jimmy G.

A quarterback you've got a chance. Without Jimmy G.

Trey Lance just not ready yet in my opinion to do with Garopolo Ken.

Maybe in the future but not right now. Here's what I do know.

Garopolo showed a lot of guts, a lot of moxie for what he did Sunday in getting the 49ers into the playoffs.

And 49er fans should be grateful
