It's kind of funny, this column that I wrote the other day about how Jeff Bezos has basically destroyed the Washington Post from the perspective of somebody who worked there for 29 years and should now sell it.

Got a lot of attention. It was picked up by

Drudge and other websites. Great. Fox yesterday asked me to take the column and record an audio

version of it. I've done this with several of my books. It's challenging because you've got to get

every syllable right, which means you've got to do a lot of

restarts and do-overs and so forth, so that the network could post it as an audio file that people

could click on. Happy to do it, but it's no buts. I mean, happy to do it, and maybe it reaches

more people that way.

Meanwhile, some sports items to deal with here. The guy who won the bronze medal for Team Norway,

Sterla Lagrid, has yesterday confessed to cheating on his girlfriend. In an interview right after the race, he was all teared up,

and he said he wanted to address somebody who may not be washing. Six months ago,

I made the love of my life, the most beautiful, nicest person in the world. And three months

ago, I made the biggest mistake of my life and cheated on her.

I told her about it a week ago.

It's been the worst week of my life.

Couldn't keep it a secret.

Now I've told everybody.

I hope she can still love me.

I don't care who this guy sleeps with.

But talking to her about it a week before the big

Olympics race, not the smartest strategy, just taking a brief look at it.
