What I'd like to do this morning is to share with you the spillover of this summer study and give you a foretaste of what the BITC plenary session is going to look like this fall because I'm going to teach, Lord willing, on living by faith in future grace in the BITC plenary sessions at 645 on Wednesday night beginning September 14. But I want to tell you what I've been

looking at and studying and thinking about in these last four weeks of study and

writing and my prayer is that the spillover would be as strengthening

and as encouraging for you personally and for this church corporately as it has been for me.

We're to look at 26 texts this morning. We've never done this before.

I've never had you look up 26 texts and you may say, well I'm not going to look up 26 texts.

Well, I want you to look up 26 texts. I want you to. We've never done it before. If you look up 26

text with me, it may be that you'll never forget the point because you'll always say it was

the sermon where we looked up 26 texts and we never did that

before. Some of you were here and in fact I'm going to take a little survey it's going to be

very few hands going up here but I want to see how many. I said something on my first Sunday here,

July 13, sorry I was there, July 13, 1980, that I want to say again right now,

now I want to see how many of you,

now I'm not going to require that you remember if you hear that Sunday,

but how many of you were attending Bethlehem

in July of 1980.
