Well, nothing too exciting.

Just living the dream, bud.

Yeah, looks like the old grain markets are, they've been up, down, sideways, every direction, got a new administration change.

Yeah, I suppose they had to take some profit and correct a little bit.

Yeah, you've got to admit things have been in an upward trajectory for quite a while now.

So, you know, a little setback we can live with.

I mean, it's like a good buddy of mine always told me, pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered,

and we're all guilty of, well, we sold some corn for under $4.

So we really want over $5 to average it out.

And maybe that's going to work out.

Maybe it's not.

Yep, exactly. We should have sold already, but if we knew what we were doing there, none of us would

have to farm.

We'd just buy and sell paper.

And that seems to be the easier way to go.

That's exactly right.

Today I want to talk on a few topics that are starting to be very hot trends in some of the local farm magazines.

We're starting into this carbon sequestration, you know, cap and trade, a new administration

coming into the White House with maybe a lot more environmental friendly policies, if that's

what you want to call that.

I mean, that's the way they're leaning you electric vehicles, green New Deal, however you want to word that.
