I'm John Batsworth, my colleague Elizabeth Peak of the Hill, a columnist of Fox News,

a columnist, much on Fox Business. The politics of the moment include the fact that the

Republican Party does not have a speaker of the House. This is a result of a machinations

in the House last week before the war. Now we're after the war start in the Middle East,

the simultaneity of the Ukraine war means our industrial base is challenged, and our political

leadership is challenged. So we speak to the Republican Party, where there is a nomination contest

underway as well. This, the Wall Street Journal has a column today by a politician. Texas

politician will heard who was momentarily a candidate for the nomination is now dropped out.

And he looks to Nikki Haley for leadership, and also for someone who can rival Donald Trump,

who commands an overwhelming lead in the polling so far for the Republican nomination.

What do you make of Nikki Haley so far in her presentation? Governor of South Carolina,

after that ambassador to the United Nations and the Trump years, how do you measure her?

Well, I've always thought she was an excellent candidate. She was very successful in both those roles,

the big problem she had was that she left the UN, and then she was sort of in the wilderness
