So the other day, remember I texted you guys in the thread. I was delighting about the Luca and the Goon Squad, right? As soon as they hit the floor, it was, I forget which game it was, but it was like,

Luca and just all the dogs on the team.

And they played pretty well, and you could kind of see the vision for that.

And so Harrison text me, and he's like, Pete, goon means something different these days.

And I'm like, Harrison, I refuse to seed ground to Gen Z on this

for many reasons. But one of the great childhood movies of our childhood was the Goonies.

Reddick's preferred term for this type of player is a banshee. He referred to Jordan Goodwin

as this, of which they are of the same ilk. The great Jack Perkins, who for my

money is on probably the greatest run of a season of any NBA content creator, just put out a

great one of the first Clippers win of Goodwin and Trey Jemison. With Goodwin in his mask,

Jemison with the baseball bat and the purple and gold eyes.

Just brilliant stuff.
