0:08.0	Here are today's headlines. Google fired 28 employees on Wednesday who were involved in an anti-Israel protest.
0:27.0	On Tuesday, the group of Google employees held a pro-Palestine sit-in at Google offices in New York and in California. The New York Post was
0:35.9	the first to break the story. The Google employees were protesting a 1.2
0:40.3	billion dollar contract that Google has with Israel to supply both the Israeli government and
0:46.4	military with Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services.
0:50.6	The post reports that the protesters wore Arab headscarves and they stormed and occupied the offices of a top executive in California.
0:59.0	And in New York, protesters had occupied the 10th floor of Google's offices in the Chelsea section of
1:05.8	Manhattan, also according to the post.
1:08.3	The now fired employees were reportedly a part of a group called No Tech for Apartheid, which has criticized Google's relationship

1:17.0	An internal investigation resulted in the termination of those 28 Google employees.
1:22.7	And Google's vice president of global security, Chris Rokow, issued a company-wide memo that said
1:28.8	the protesters took over office spaces, defaced our property, and physically impeded the work of other Googlers.
1:36.9	And he added that this behavior was unacceptable, extremely disruptive, and made coworkers feel threatened.
1:44.0	Well today kicked off day number three of former President Donald Trump's
1:50.3	criminal case in Manhattan.
1:52.3	Jury selection started on Monday in this case,
1:55.6	but today was day three because on Wednesdays,
1:58.9	the case is taking a break throughout the trial.
