the trials of Muhammad Ali, Bill Siegel.

Bill, just straight up, how are you feeling?

I mean, you heard the news about Muhammad passing on.

How did you take it?

I get sadder and sadder.

I mean, I think it's coming at me in waves that he's really gone from the mortal plane, at least,

even though his influence and, you know, his spirit will be here forever.

But having gotten the chance to meet him a couple of times in different periods

in my life and devoted a decent chunk of my life to studying his life and doing what I could

to make a documentary film about him, there's something that I'm deeply wounded by just in terms of having his basic human presence gone.
