Good evening. This is John Batchelor. The show begins tonight with inflation,

stagnation, and helicopters that throw cash out on the American people.

These are theories of the economists who have led this country for some decades.

I speak with John Cochran of the Hoover Institution about why throwing cash out of a helicopter

is not the best way to grow the economy. It is, however, the condition

you need for the inflation that has made our economy stagnate these last years. So we discuss growth and how to get there without

inflation and that would be effective investments and capitalism. More to come. Also John has some

statistics about how Stanford campus the zip codes associated with Stanford University voted in the California

primary, no surprises, overwhelmingly democratic,

overwhelmingly.

quality of the Bundes fair. We also talk about Gaza and the war of the North, the

fog of war over the Hezbollah provocations.

China is no longer giving statistics that anybody believes.

No one believes the numbers that are coming out of the Great Hall of China during the People's

Congress. In fact, not even the Chinese authorities believe them because Premier

Lee in charge of the economy, nominally, is not going to hold a press conference post the

meeting anymore, at least till 2027.
