Good evening. The show begins tonight in Syria. Massacres underway. Bill Rajo and I speak with

Hussain Hukani, former ambassador from Pakistan, who describes Syria now as abandoned by the powers

in the way the 19th century did not feel responsible for humanitarian intervention in states that have fallen into disrepair.

In Syria's case, it's a failed state.

The civil war is underway again.

No intervention from the outside.

Israel to the south on Syria territory, Russia to the east and Latakia, to the west,

the U.S. to the east along the Jordan-Iraqi border, and Turkey to the north, outside of Idlib province,

and all along the frontier.

Balkanization of Syria at the same time in Damascus is the man who claims to be the president,

no vote has ever been cast, Al-Shara. He heads a group HTS, which is al-Qaeda slash ISIS,

jihadist, cutthroats.

They're in combat now in Latakia province, where there was an ambush of the so-called Syrian army.

They're HTS.

Fifteen dead.

More contests, more fighting.

Civil wars erupted. What's leading the resistance? Former Assad regime officers, especially a man named Dala, Soleiman Dala, who headed up the 4th Armored Division,

which was one of the best units in the early days of the Civil War.

Talking to John Hardy, Bill Raju and I speak to John about Ukraine and the conflict in the

Kursk Salient. The Russians have made big advances in these last days since we last talked to John,

and they're threatening to encircle the forces of Ukraine

that have invested into cursed salient.
