And today we talk about the Lakers' quest to shoot more threes. If you watch my film session yesterday, I showed a couple of plays, pullup threes in transition, where I asked, and not

necessarily rhetorically, although the way I asked definitely suggested that I was not a fan of

the shots, but I asked, are these good shots or not? And so I want to talk about sort of like

how we get to that. We shot 43s, only 27 and a half percent in the second preseason game.

And Redick, although you pointed out, D, the tone of how he said it was sort of, you know,

he had a little glint in his eye.

Like, when talking about shooting 43s, he was like, we'll get to 50 at some point.

And I have a reflexive pushback against this topic that I kind of want to talk out.

A lot of people who I respect and I know a ton about basketball feel fairly passionate about this topic.

And I've been talking on the pod for the last, you know, several months, even going into last season about how shooting more threes is important to the Lakers.

And they've got a coach who now aligns with that idea. And so talk to me, Dia, a little bit about the, where you're at

on this topic and kind of where you think things are going. So where I think things are going,

that's the easy part to answer. I think the Lakers are going to be shooting more threes.
