Welcome to Out on the Lanai, the only Golden Girls podcast you're ever going to need to listen to.

And I'm Carrie Doherty.

And this is a podcast where we used to watch an episode of the Golden Girls and then talk about it, but we ran out of episodes.

And then we broke down all the fantastic episodes of the spin-off, the Golden Palace, but we ran out of those too.

And so now we're relishing in the freedom of doing whatever the hell we want.

Yes, that is right.

And because so many of you have been asking for it, we've decided to rewind this.

That's right.

We're going back and re-watching our favorite episodes of the

Golden Girls and re-talking about them and offering new insight that we've gained since we first

broke down these fabulous episodes back in 2014 when we were with both babies. So we won't be

doing this in order.

We'll just be watching whatever ones we feel like.

And we'll be watching classic episodes.

But since this is the first official rewatch, under our new partnership with mom, we figured

we'd start with the first episode.
