Welcome to Out on the Lanai, the only Golden Girls podcast you will ever need to listen to.

I'm H. Allen Scott, and today I'm on a very special golden assignment in Baltimore,

Maryland, of all places. I was born here, but I'm not here to like walk down memory lane and stuff.

I don't remember anything about this goddamn place. It's a beautiful city, though. I am here

because there was an amazing exhibit last night. It's happening all month. It's called Miami

is nice.com. We've talked about it on the podcast before. Oh my God. I was out here for a very

cheesecake conversation with former Golden Girls writer, Stan Zimmerman, also a guest on the

podcast. And this Miami is Nice.com was, it's an art exhibit basically inspired by

the Golden Girls. It's a group art exhibition, queer performance series, and also a gay

wedding celebration inspired by the Golden Girls. Now, the organizers of this, Zach Handler and

Nick Horn, they are the married couple. They're married now.

Congratulations to them. They're amazing. They're so sweet. They're so nice. And they brought together

such a beautiful group of people to an artist to really sort of dive into and be inspired by the

awesomeness of the Golden Girls. If you guys, as you know, are Golden Girls fans, if you guys come to this exhibit, which is still going on, and by October 28th, that's the last day for it, you'll be amazed.
