I'm going on my first date since losing my husband five years ago.

I haven't been on a date in over 30 years.

What's something I should try to do on the date so that he gets to know me and I'm not just nervous?

Drink heavily.

No, this, you know, this is actually an easy question because, Allison, I'm right there

with you.

I'm just dating and my husband died six years ago.

So here's my advice to you.

You should ask him questions about himself because everybody loves to talk about themselves. And if you ask him

something about himself, you know, his family, what he does, what he likes to do on a weekend,

that's going to help you come up with other ideas. And he'll ask you some questions. Hopefully he

asks her some questions. But you know what? Don't be nervous, Allison.
