Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the championship edition of the Gold Standard, the Tigers, and the25 national champions, eighth time in LSU history.

We are just back from Omaha, Nebraska, after another highly successful run by Coach Jay Johnson and the Tigers.

Second time in three years that Coach Jay has led LSU to a national championship.

Pretty amazing that he is the fastest coach to win multiple

national championships at one school. He's won two national titles here at LSU in four years.

The next closest is Jim Morris, but it took Jim Morris eight years at Miami to win two national

titles. Here's Jay's done it in four years.

Just another testament to the remarkable job he's doing here at LSU. And so I'm Bill Frankes,

very proud to be the communications director for LSU baseball. I've been doing it for a long time.

I've been so lucky to be a part of all eight national championships. And I'm joined, as always,

here on the gold standard by my son, Will Frank joined, as always, here on the Gold Standard, by my son,

Will Frank has, and Will, since you were a youngster, back in 2009,

you've been a part of a few of these, too.

So I know you sharing the excitement of all the LSU fans

for what this baseball team accomplished.

Yeah, man, and I just, you know, I could sit here for the next three and a half

hours and talk about the past two weeks and what that meant to us and what that meant to just

everyone on the team at LSU as a whole. But I think the overarching theme for me was just

consistency. Yeah. We were just so consistent was just consistency. Yeah.

We were just so consistent across the board.

I'm going to evoke some skipisms here.
