What a weekend it was for sports, Dave.

The last meaningless weekend for basketball.

Next weekend, we get playoffs abound all over the place.

NHL, NBA, and all the other good stuff. How was your couple days off?

Oh, it was marvelous. I don't consider it off. I consider it on. We had a chance to watch

sports, sports, and more sports. And the best of all is we debate the college football thing,

what's going to go down there? We're that much closer to pro football. And I'm that much more

confident that we're going to see it. In the meantime, I ate a ton, perhaps too much cheese

over the course of the week. Cheese? What kind of cheese? A lot of cheese. I also, I also

did the thing where we ordered pizza. It was Hoover Damashek's birthday.

And of course, it sprawls over several days. We had the Spider-Man sushi party properly yesterday.

But then the day before, we ordered a giant pizza and the calzone. And I tricked my brain.

I was like, I can eat pizza, but also I ate almost an entire calzone thereby tricking myself to thinking, I didn't eat that much pizza. Good for you. Oh, yeah. That's a classic.
