God takes genuinely bad things, and he brings his power to bear in them so that you will be better off for them having happened.

It means that from the vantage point of eternity, you're going to be able to see how God exercised his power and grace in such a perfect way that all the evil that happened will in the end only lead to greater glory for God and greater joy for us.

passages in the Bible. I'm just not sure what to do with. Well, okay, maybe more than some,

but the group of Psalms called the Psalms of help and protection fall

into that category of scripture. I'm just not always sure if I'm interpreting and implying them

correctly. It seems like we gravitate towards them because they try and bring us some comfort, but I have a

hard time always applying them to my life. Pastor J.D. Greer explains these passages in today's message titled,

Psalm 91, if you have your Bible, if you'll take it out and open it. This week, I want to

deal with a problem of unanswered prayer. I'm talking about those times that you've looked up

toward heaven for help and you've wanted to say, God, are you even listening to me? God, how come I'm

not getting my help? You know, if you're like me, sometimes you read these promises in the Bible about God's help and his protection and you want to say, you're going to me. God, how come I'm not getting my help? You know, if you're like me, sometimes you read
