Amen. Amen. Well, good evening. You can be seated. Online. We're so glad that while you're

already seated, but welcome, we're glad that you're joining with us. Really looking forward to

what the Lord has for us, but before we jump in, I want to let you know that our all church prayer meeting is going to be this coming Tuesday, May 5th, 7 p.m. here in the sanctuary.

Really hope you're able to come and join with us.

But tonight we are making progress.

Chapter 2.

So... Tonight we are making progress. Chapter two. So I, well, I'm just going to jump in. Is that okay? So this chapter has a profound and powerful truth. I'm going to even go as far as

saying life-changing truth, but the problem is it's not so easily seen at first

read. And what it is is that of God showing me my need before providing me my need. So that's going to come,

I want to use the word screaming, but I do enough of that, so I'll just for lack of a better

word, use that until I come up with another one. It's going to just come leaping. That's

a better one. Leaping out of this chapter as no less than one main takeaway for us to take home.

You know that Psalm, I want to say it's 34, it's probably 37, but let's just say it's 34,

where the psalmist writes, delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Now as a young believer, I was thought, cool. I can have whatever my heart's desire is. All I have to do is just delight myself in the Lord. And then I grew up, matured in Christ, grew in grace, and the Lord just began to open my eyes to what that really meant.

And what that really means is, God puts the desire on your heart first and then it becomes a delight to you.

Then he gives you the desire that he gave to you and put on your heart, the desire of your heart,

and then it's a delight when he gives you that desire that he gave you. Holy Spirit, please take that

and tweak that.

Because I, that's what we're gonna see tonight.

And there's so much more, so I'll do my best to get to it.

But there's one more thing we need to understand before we dive in,

and that is that chapter one was more like a wide angle view
