0:00.0	You may be seated. Well, our text for today comes from the fourth chapter of the gospel
0:08.5	according to St. Luke, reading from the amplified version of the scriptures, you'll there find
0:14.5	these words. Verse 16, so he came to Nazareth, speaking of Jesus, where he had been brought up, as was his custom, he entered the synagogue on the Sabbath.
0:27.7	That was their worship day.
0:29.2	And notice Jesus made it a custom to go to the house of the Lord.
0:34.1	He made it a custom.
0:35.5	He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read. And the scroll of the
0:41.1	prophet Isaiah was handed to him. And he unrolled the scroll and found the place where it is written,
0:46.6	which was Isaiah chapter 61, verse 1 and 2. And he's quoting here now,
0:51.3	the spirit of the Lord is upon me, the Messiah, because he has
0:55.5	anointed me to preach the good news to the poor.
0:58.8	He has sent me to announce release, pardon, forgiveness to the captives and recovery of sight
1:06.4	to the blind.
1:07.2	That means those that have lost their vision.
1:08.9	It's time to get your vision back.
1:19.6	Recovery, recovery. to set free those who are oppressed downtrodden bruised crushed by tragedy and to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord the day when salvation and the favor of God
1:27.0	abound greatly then he rolled up the scroll
1:31.0	having stopped in the middle of the verse gave it back to the attendant and sat down to teach
1:37.2	and the eyes of all of those in the synagogue were attentively fixed on him.
