Good evening. The show begins tonight in the Keystone State, Pennsylvania. Conversation with

Selena Zito. She's in the west. I'm from the east of Pennsylvania, and we talk about the decision

by Bob Casey, Senator Bob Casey, to concede defeat to David McCormick for the new Congress.

The challenge is done. I also learned, however, that there were unhappy moments in these last

days since the election to do with remarks by a leadership in Bucks County, one of the color counties,

and perhaps also in Montgomery County, the county of my birth.

But in any event, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania stepped forward and said,

very clearly you cannot count ballots that are not dated, cannot do it.

The governor then came forward and commented in the same fashion.

Then to Florida, Bill Whalen comments on Florida's success with ballot initiatives, amendments,

and California struggle with the same, and why. Bill makes a very strong recommendation.

This is two states that are at opposite ends of the political conversation and fortune.

Florida is filling up with Californians and New Yorkers and people from Illinois

because it treats people with tax money in their pockets.

Well, you pay your taxes, but you do not like to be exploited by the state you live in.

And that is the opinion of many who have left New York and California

for other states in these last years. I live in a Connecticut state where the taxes are

as burdensome as they are in New York, perhaps not quite as much, and people leave Connecticut as well

to go to Florida.

There's no income tax in the state income tax, other advantages.

And then a conversation with Gene Marks about small business.
