Summary

This Sunday, Pastor Sam continued our teaching series, “God Comes Where He’s Wanted” by unpacking the cry for the region through Isaiah 64. He offered three invitations to help us move from complacency, to concern, to crying our for God to intervene and reveal Himself in our region based on the pattern evident in Scripture. We must discern the season we are in, and develop a desperation for God to come have His way in every area of the world around us.

0:10.4	we did a series called God Comes Where He's Wanted. And honestly, the feedback's been overwhelming.
0:15.7	We have seen such an increase in hunger for prayer and the manifest presence of God in our church community.
0:21.6	So rather than switching to a new series, we thought we're just going to keep this going.
0:26.6	So we're about to start a six-week series leading up to Easter that is on Jesus' teaching about how to interact with God through prayer.
0:34.6	And we're simply calling this God comes where he's won at 2.0.
0:38.3	So I hope this stirs your faith even further and inspires you to seek God like never before.

0:50.7	I'm going to read the teaching text from Isaiah 62 verses 1 to 7.
0:57.3	For Zion's sake, I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake, I will not be quiet,
1:03.8	until her righteousness goes forth as brightness and her salvation as a burning torch.
1:09.9	The nation shall see your righteousness and all the kings your glory,
1:14.8	and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give.
1:19.5	You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
1:22.7	and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
1:25.8	You shall no more be termed forsaken, and your land shall no more
1:30.5	be termed desolate. But you shall be called, my delight is in her, and your land married. For the Lord
1:37.5	delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your
1:43.9	sons marry you.
1:45.5	And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.
1:51.2	On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen.
1:54.6	All the day and all the night, they shall never be silent.
