Another very somber week in politics generally and our focus and our thoughts still remain with the good people of Ukraine who are putting up one hell of a fight that I don't think the Russians ever expected.

Indeed, yes. It certainly puts any problems that we've got in our lives into perspective, doesn't it?

But yes, wishing them all the best in their fight against the invasion by Putin.

And please don't forget to catch, if you haven't't done already our show from last week where we

had on Dr Paul Flenley from the University of Portsmouth who is an expert in foreign relations

and Russia so some very insightful information from Paul last week that helped us understand a bit of the

history and the geopolitics in the region but today from looking west we are focusing

yes looking much closer to home aren't we yes so we have we have bravely travelled off the island and down the M27 towards our friends

in the neighbouring borough of Fairham. We have indeed. So joining us this evening in a second,

hopefully Councillor Katrina Trott will be joining us again. She's just having some technical issues, so hopefully she'll be back with us.
