Summary
The excitement begins this morning as massive preparations are underway for four Astronauts to blast off this evening from Kennedy Space Center. Artemis II will loop around the Earth and Moon on a 10 day mission that will take astronauts deeper into space than any human has been before. It’s been more than 50 years since astronauts have launched toward the moon and there are several firsts on the mission. This will be the first time a black and a female astronaut travel around the moon and the first time this spacecraft has taken humans into space.
