Go Birds morning update, giving you all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what to keep an eye

out for today. And it's kind of happy New Year. Technically,

New Year doesn't begin until Wednesday. So for the Daily Pot on Wednesday, I will be saying,

Happy New Year, prepare yourself. But today the legal tampering begins. And man, what a joke the

legal tampering has become in the NFL. I mean, we've seen it over the past few days, right? Like,

deals are being agreed to, trades are being made, but technically today, you're allowed to legally

tamper with free agents starting at 12 o'clock. So what that means is at 12 o'clock today,

we're going to get a ton of news around the NFL on the dot. Like it'll be 12 and you'll hear

this free agent's joining here,

here, here, here, this free agent's going to visit there. This guy has interest from here,

here, here. So it's going to be a huge day for news in the NFL as the Eagles start to go into

the new league year, looking at their roster, where they need help, where they can add guys,

and different things they'll do. And so today, I thought a good way to start the beginning of the legal tampering

process would be to take a look position by position at the Eagles roster and decide what they need

long term, short term, you know, who's going to stay, who's going to go, all that type of stuff.

So as the Eagles go around and decide to who they're going to sign, who they're going to

trade, all those things, let's take a look, position by position, at what the roster looks like

heading into the 2026 off season, which kicks off legally today.

So let's start with the most important position, and that is quarterback.

So obviously, we know who the starting quarterback is going to be next year.

The starting quarterback next year is going to be Jalen Hertz.
