What's going on, everybody, and good morning.

Today is Thursday, March 5th, and this is your daily Go Birds morning update, giving you all the Eagles news you need to know, as well as what to keep an eye out for today.

Hope you all had a great Wednesday. We are a day

closer to Friday. We are a day closer to the new league year beginning, but it feels like the

new league year is already here because we have our first major move of the offseason as a big

time trade went down on Wednesday. And we're going to talk about it and how, of course,

it impacts A.J. Brown. Obviously, we'll have some A.J. Brown updates for you. You're going to do that on the other side of the break in case you're kind of tired of hearing about A.J. Brown. And then a player that the Eagles have a history with that a lot of people want has been released, and we're going to talk dead cap space because what else would we be talking about if not dead cap space and

the philadelphia eagles but let's get People 1 has been released, and we're going to talk dead cap space, because what else would we be talking about if not dead cap space and the Philadelphia Eagles?

But let's get right into it as a major move went down on Wednesday as the Kansas City

Chiefs traded all pro, Pro Bowl, stud number one corner, Trent McDuffie to the Los Angeles Rams for a first round pick this year,

a fifth, a sixth, and a 20, 27 third. And the first round pick this year, number 29 overall.

So they get a one, a three, a five, and a six with that three going to next year. Now, from the

Rams perspective, I will say first, I respect it.

McDuffie is like that dude at corner. He's awesome. He's tough. Eagles fans know how good he is.

Obviously in the Super Bowl, he struggled, but everyone on the Chief struggled in the Super Bowl

against the Eagles. But he is an elite, elite player, tone setter on defense. I think it's

an unbelievable trade for the Rams, who really,

in my opinion, should enter next year as the favorites to win the NFC. Seattle, as the reigning

Super Bowl champion, I can give them credit. They do deserve to be mentioned for sure and to be

on that short list. But I just think the Rams are better. You look at all the free agents that

Seattle has,
