The weekend is here. It's going to be a good one. It's the last few days of never relaxing.

But the last few days before next week, we really kick off the final week of NFL draft

coverage is, man, the draft is here next week. Again, I know I started Thursday's pod by saying

this, but I think about it a lot.

This time next week, the Eagles will probably, probably, because you never know about trades and such,

have a new critical player, have a new player that they are viewing as a potentially foundational piece for the team.

I can't wait to find out who it is. So later today, we have the cornerback pod coming out where I'll be looking at the different cornerbacks that are available for the Eagles in the 2026 NFL draft ones early on. That makes sense. And I'm not going to lie. I came away from it a little more convinced maybe Corner would be a decent option for the team in the even first round, but certainly the second round.

I think there's some intriguing options.

And look, they got big time money coming to Quigna Cooper.

So eventually they're going to need cheap quality options in the secondary.

And we know the draft is we're able to do that because it's where they found cheap,

very quality options in the cornerback market with Quigna Cooper.

They found it on the

defensive line. They had it with Jalen for the 2022 season. So the Eagles know, maybe more than anybody,

how much having cheap talent can take your roster from a good roster to a great roster. So later on,

we'll talk about, well, to be in the feed, the cornerback position in the 2026 GoBirds on the

draft draft series. And that'll be the last position. Kind of sad. Teardrop emoji. Like,
