Nomes are real, but they're not nice and cute little garden dwellers.

You know, wear colorful clothes or fend off invasive pests,

or plant things beneficial to your lawn, no.

Nomes are awful, devilish little terrors with a person to cruelty.

I know. I have to get rid of a gnome infestation.

And it nearly cost me my life.

I decided to do some late summer yard work for my neighborhood to make a little cash

when I returned to school.

Now there were a few elderly couples throughout the subdivision,

and even the proudest of them,

have always accepted my help when offered.

During winter, I'd shovel driveways in the fall, I'd rake leaves,
