I just want to tread lightly into how are we feeling about the Thursday night kickoff game

and everything that's been said about playing quarterback in your 40s.

And Kyle, is this something that's bothering you? Are you leaning into it? How are we feeling those in their 40s?

I think it's awesome. Flacco versus Rogers. I'm well into my 40s. I absolutely love it. I think it's cool that they can play that long.

You know, it's the most amazing thing. You think this has to be the oldest matchup of two starting quarterbacks by far, or at least in the modern era. And it's not. It's not even close. Brady and Breeze played each other a few years back, and they're like way older than these guys are. So it's a bigger, cooler thing about the people are playing longer and taking care of themselves better. I just can't wait to watch the game. Mike Arefully disagreed?

I mean, Jamie asked me how I'm feeling.

Well, my back's a little stiff.

My knee pops when I get low into a squat for some reason. Yeah. You know, I wake up foggy every single morning, even if I didn't have any pops. Oh, how am I feeling about the game? Yeah. Jamie, I will say I hate the things on the internet that are like, do you know if back to the future has happened now, Marty would go back to 1995? Wow. Doesn't time fly? Shut up. We already feel old enough already without you trying to put us under the water like that. And you're like, that's insane because 1994 was the greatest year ever invented, so you can't go back to 95. You've got to go back to 94. Speaking of those aches and pains and how long it takes for you to get out of that squat, if you're Mike Garifolo, we got to check on some injury news heading into tonight's game. Ian Rappaport, I don't really need to hear about your aches and pains, but if you want to share with the class, that's fine. Otherwise, you can get us right to injuries for Thursday night football. That's a mostly it's low back. A lot of times after I play golf in the afternoon, then the next morning I wake up, the back is kind of tight, mostly because I'm bombing drives down the middle of the fairway. Heat tabs. But anyway, let's get to some injuries for this big Thursday nighter featuring a bunch of old dudes who are actually younger than all of us, which is really just the weirdest thing ever. Calvin Austin, one of the young, young receivers for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is not going to play tonight. He's dealing with his shoulder injury. He has not practiced at all this week. He has been ruled out. No surprise. It probably means you're going to see, obviously, you're going to see plenty of D.K. Mecca. Plenty of Roman Wilson, Scottie Miller, also there, as a debt piece of the Steelers should be fine. On the other side, another, I don't say, mildly young player, Mike Gisicki, one of their tight ends who has been dealing with a pectoral injury, a torn pack.. He was placed on injured reserve this week. He is out for this game, and he is out the next four weeks. We'll see if he's able to come back. Sounds like the MRI maybe came back a little better than they expected, so time will tell if he is able to return this season. And then the big one for tonight, Trey Hendrickson, the star pass rusher for the

Cincinnati Bengals, one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. And certainly one of the big

stories of the offseason. He is officially questionable with a hip injury. It was ruled out of the

game with a back injury, now questionable with a hip injury. My understanding is despite the fact

that he is really pushing to play,

he's considered a bit of a long shot. It's just such a quick turnaround from Sunday to Thursday.

I'm not saying he's got no chance, but it's not a great chance. But if you know Trey Hendrickson,

well, he is absolutely dying to be out on that field. So we'll see. I bet he is.

And to chase down Aaron Rogers. Rapsheet, thanks so much. Speaking of Rogers and the Steelers, as we have mentioned many times, they are set to square off against a division rival in the Bengals tonight. Joe Flacco, new in town in Cincinnati. The Steelers sit atop this division, the AFC North, at 4 and 1 right now. on the Bengals, two games back, at two and fourth.
