I may be modest with 80 and 8, but I think there is an interesting thing with DJ Moore. I think if you were a Bill's fan who has been watching him from a distance and you're trying to figure out exactly how excited you should get about DJ Moore, there's this tainting of his reputation, because let's be honest, the ending of that Rams game was very strange. and it's been talked about ad nauseum, the last interception by Caleb.

People wanted to put blame on DJ Moore. He stopped running the route. He tuned out all this. And really, DJ Moore, his only explanation that I saw was that it was a, quote, miscommunication. Here's what I would urge Bill's fans to do. And I would urge fans, if you're trying to figure out what this guy's all about or how he's thought of, look at Bears fans online and look at real Bears fans who followed the team for years and day and day out every single snap. And they will tell you DJ Moore was

fantastic. He was a fantastic player with some good Bears teams, with one good Bears team,

with some terrible Bears teams. Remember in 2024, they lost 10 games in a row. And DJ Moore was out there running routes, not giving up. Now, listen, I think the last play against the Rams was very strange, too. But I do think it was an outlier. I don't think that is what he is all about. Not to mention, not to mention, this is a Walt Spake Man of the Year finalist nominee.

Like, he is a great dude who has loved in the locker room in the community. And never mind all that, because that's not going to win Super Bowls. And that's not what you're interested in. I'm just throwing it in there as a little garnish. But he is a fantastic player. Don't worry about, you know what, if you're wondering about worry about what happened at the end of the game, look up what he did against the end of the Packers game

when he made the biggest play in Bears history,

at least the last 25 years. It's incredible, incredible what he did. I'm not getting too caught up at what happened the end of the Rans game. I do think it was strange, but I don't think it's what he's all about. You should be very excited about this receiver because it's the best one you've had in years. The Raiders may choose to believe in the fairy tale.

And you mentioned, you know, they're not going to be in the AFC title game in the next three years. We're in a time now where crazy stuff is happening. We just saw the Patriots get to the Super Bowl. They had this young quarterback and this good coach, and they just got there. And we've seen it. We've seen the Bengals do it. We've seen teams that, like, bam, quarterback and we're there. They believe in that, I think. And I'm starting to think, like, they want him to be a raider. It's the rare pass rusher who is the face of the team. You just don't see that much. What I don't like as a fan, we're in this bizarre time right now. where by far right now, their two best pass rushers in the league are in two of the worst teams. It's like Garrets and Cleveland,

it doesn't matter. Crosby's in the Raiders. They never matter. So as a fan, of course, I'd like to see him run around in meaningful prime time games. But I also believe this. Draft picks are scratch-offs. They're nonsense. They're pixie dust. You think you trust the Raiders with those draft picks? You really think they're going to nail those picks? They've made some good picks lately. Okay, but like you trade Crosby. You got a bunch of picks. The picks all suck or they're mid-lead players. They're like, well, at least we have those draft picks. I just always believe in a bird in the hand when you have a player that good.

He's not 31.

He's 28. I think he's got a couple seasons left of his prime. I've kind of gone back and forth in this, but I listen to you talk with you. I'm like, who says they're not going to be in the title game the next year? If they get Mendoza, he's just great.

DJ Moore was a very good bear in a very cool time, and he ushered Caleb from infancy to adolescence, and that was a very important role, and I respect DJ Moore.
