Aaron Rodgers took part in the first day of Steelers' mandatory minicamp yesterday.

In September, he will become the six QB since 1950 to debut as a starter for a new team at age 41 or older.

The four-time MVP is entering season 21, about to suit up for his third team in four seasons.

So, Aaron, why do you want to keep flying, man?

I don't need it.

For my ego, I don't need it to keep playing.

A lot of decisions that I've made over my career and life from strictly the ego,

even if they turn out well, are always unfulfilling.

But the decisions made from the soul are usually pretty fulfilling.

So this was a decision that was best for my soul.

And I felt like being here with Coach T and the guys they got here and the opportunity here was the best for me. And I'm excited to be here. See, now, decisions from the soul, this is starting to sound like the Aaron Rogers that we know and oftentimes tolerate throughout the season. But you know what? I feel like he meant that. I feel like

you meant that. Isaiah, let's start with you. Decision from the soul. Best place to really search.

Listen, we know that Aaron Rogers is not afraid to do some soul searching, but we also know that

Aaron Rogers now has a Britney with an eye in his life. And whoever this Britney is has created a new

version of Aaron Rogers that I like. I like. It feels like everything that comes from out of his mouth right now is heartfelt, right? And it comes from his soul, right? And that's exactly what he's saying right now. And I love the fact that he seems like he's purpose driven right now. Not to say that he hasn't been in his career before, but there's something different right now with Aaron Rogers when he's speaking. There's a, there's an ambiance that he has about him, that he is so focused right now about this time in his life that he wants to close the chapter. I truly believe that, you know, that one is not enough for him. He wants to go out there and secure the bag. And I'm not talking about the bag. He's talking about securing another ring, okay?

He has one on his left hand.

Now he wants to put one on his right hand.

But I think that he is purpose driven right now. There's a good book called Purpose Driven Life. But I think he's been reading something that has him focused right now. And I think it's a good time for him to be with Pittsburgh. Well, Pittsburgh Nation, welcome to the soul train, right?
