Welcome to That's What She Said with Sarah Spain, a podcast about, well, whatever the hell I want,

battle failures, and how they ended up here, talking to me. I'm Kyle Brand, and my dilemma is that

I coach Flagfootball six and seven-year-olds, and I want to play the best players all the time,

damn it. I just want to win, and yet the six-year-olds aren't as good or are not as able, so I have a thing

with my conscience where it's really bothering me when I'll play them, so I don't really know what to do.

It's my dilemma. Okay, I have to recuse myself on this one. I am way too competitive to answer this

question, like, unhelpfully competitive. Like, why doesn't everyone care as much as I do about

winning everything? Like, darts at a bar, or trivial pursuit, and egg toss, getting to the next red

light faster, I have a problem. And it's one I've been working on my whole life. I'm still working

on it. So I needed to outsource this question to a coach, a lover of children, someone with patience,

an expert on fair play, good sportsmanship, and all that stuff. So I went to the one, the only,

the legend, Hall of Famer, soccer great, Julie Fowdy. Okay, party people. As much as we all,

and I get it, all of society wants to be standing on top of that podium with that big gold medal

around your neck. Let's not forget the most important fact here. What do we all know? They're

six years old. And you want to make that experience for six-year-olds enjoyable because
