We're getting ready for the weekend.

It's a party in here in the studio.

We have La Jatsu, Latsu in here, Cam Bynum, Isaac Rochelle, and I'm Colleen Wolf. We got Kyle Brandt in New York, L.A., New York. It's great. This has been a party. We learned some fun facts about you guys, which I still can't get over. In fact that you love Nirvana, that you were attacked by a dog and police training. I mean, Isaac, we're going to have to play it with you, even though you said you're terrible at that game.

Mine's going to be boring. I mean, you guys, that was actually enjoyable to, like, hear those facts. So thank you for that. All right. And Kyle, we're going to get you in there as well. I also want to play it. I love games in general, and that's an awesome one. Maybe Mike Garifolo has some truths for us.

Let's get

out to Gizi right now because John Lynch, the 49ers general manager, he was at the Stanford

Pro Day. So we're looking for clues. Anything at all about what's going on with Brock Party. Did he leave

any type of Easter eggs? He didn't talk about it at all, Colleen. He wouldn't get into the details of the negotiations. Did acknowledge that that's part of this off season that the 49ers are having. They've had to make some tough decisions regarding some veterans because they know they're going to have to spend that money toward Purdy. Now the negotiations have begun. They have been underway recently. my understanding is they got off to a decent start, but nothing is imminent here. And the value on Brock Purdy, you know, a lot of folks are going to say, well, he's the last pick in the draft. And this is more of a system, like he's a system. If he was a system quarterback, then some of the quarterback that they had before him would have stuck.

2:05.6

The fact of the matter is, he is the trigger man in this offense and he makes it work the way Kyle Shanahan wants.

2:10.0

And the 49ers understand that. It's just about assessing a numerical value to that.

2:14.1

And that's what the process is going to be here over the next weeks, if not the next couple of months here.

2:18.1

But I think in the end, when it gets done, Brock Purdy's going to be one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the league. I don't think he's going to surpass Dak Prescott at $60 million a year at the top of the market, but he will be close. I don't think Aaron Rogers, when he decides on a team, whichever one he wants to play for is going to be close to that $60 million mark either, but that's not what this is about. It's not about money for Rogers. It's about the best possible fit. We told you he was interested in playing for the Minnesota Vikings, but the Vikings are sticking with J.J. McCarthy for now and not pursuing Rogers. Now, he can wait, and he certainly seems to be taking his time anyway. He could wait for the Vikings and potentially change their mind, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, if at all.

2:51.4

So the Giants and the Steelers remain his best options as of right now.

2:55.6

Both teams feel like they've had good communication with Rogers.

2:58.4

No decision to this point.

Meanwhile, Russell is sitting there.
