So a lot to look forward to today, but we do begin with the dangerous weather and serious

heat that's on the way for millions. Ginger, it has been so wet here, but it's going to get hot.

Oh, we're about to see a huge shift, Janae, and everybody. So let's talk about what's happening today. In the last 24 hours, we've had about 170 severe storm reports. This is pretty normal. Things move north as we go through the season. That was pictures out of Wichita. They woke up yesterday morning with just 101 mile per hour winds busting through. So lots of tree damage there. Overnight, Chicago had lightning,

and you're gonna see more thunderstorms there today.

You're actually have a tornado threat in Chicago,

Indianapolis, Detroit, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Toledo, Dayton, Ohio.

That's today, it's a level three out of five.

But tomorrow, before the heat gets here,

we've got severe storms.
