Yeah, we made it to Friday, right? The weekend is upon us. We've got a lot to cover this morning here coming up. Back to school costs, we know that they can add up, right? So we're going to tell you when and where you can find tax breaks for your kids must-haves before they head back to class. And Lori Bergamato is here with the right stuff.

Top picks for tech accessories that everyone can use, not just the kids. But we do start here with the dangerous storm hitting the Gulf Coast right now. Expected to dump upwards of eight inches of rain through the weekend, threatening to cause flash flooding and Ginger. We know you've been tracking all of this. Yes, there are a couple of pockets I want to point you to.

We'll start in Louisiana, Mississippi, because it's that area that we were watching for a name, but never got a name.

Doesn't matter, it's still going to produce a significant amount of rain.

And so Louisiana from Baton Rouge, back to Lake Charles, over to Biloxi and Gulfport, all included in that watch.

Two to four inches widespread, but up to a foot.

But this is the area I'm actually more concerned about. In the next couple hours we're

going to see these slow moving storms. That Shenandoah Valley area that is circled in

red that's a level three out of four. Some of the storms could bring three inch per hour

rainfall rates. You add the topography around there and you're in Charlottesville,

Virginia or Moorefield, West Virginia along Interstate 81. I'm really worried about that. So please let everybody

know if you know somebody out there, if they're camping or driving through.

Yeah. And what about the severe weather threat through the weekend?

Yes. And so then we turn it up and the atmosphere energizes Chicago, Indianapolis,

Cleveland, Detroit, all have to watch on Saturday. That's 11 a.m. on Chicago, then Indianapolis, about 4 or 5 p.m. ahead of the big game that everybody's gonna be talking about, that WNBA game, and Detroit and Cleveland, a little later in the evening. So that area needs to be on the lookout. A lot of people don't check the forecast when they go out on a Saturday. Just know ahead of time.

Yep, damaging wind is the main hazard there. All right. Yeah, really important. All right, Ginger, thank you.
