Summary

Liz Edwards was a teacher for five years before starting her own business and having her first son. She was passionate about helping people live healthier lifestyles, so she got into fitness and marketing. When her best friend asked her to co-found Glow, a platform to bridge the gap between consumers and nonprofits, Liz said yes. With the help of her co-founder, she did extensive research, finding that people trusted their friends and influencers more than brands and companies. So, they created an app with a 35 step vetting process to help people feel secure in their donations and track the impact they had. Liz lives by treating people with kindness, understanding that everyone has a story and they can all have an impact, no matter how small. In this episode, you will learn the following:1. How to leverage influencers for social change initiatives2. How to track ESG data for companies and corporations3. How to create a culture of impact and kindness in the world.jointheglow.comWe're happy you're here! Like the pod? Visit our website! Check out our sponsor PitchDB! Start your trial on Simplified!
