Summary

The back to school season brings that sense of routine that some of us crave–but it can also bring on a whole lot of anxiety (getting the right supplies, attending all the events, filling out paperwork…the list goes on!). In this Glad I Did / Wish I’d Done episode, Meagan and Sarah reflect on all the things we’re glad we did to ease the transition into this season and also some things we could have done differently (or that we plan to try this year!). We share what to do with all those school supplies from one year to the next (Meagan is genius, really!), our approach for communicating with teachers, our thoughts on homework, how we plan to hold onto summer JUST a little bit longer this year, and more. 0:29.0	Megan Francis. Hey, Megan. Hi, Sarah. We are coming to you in August, friends, and
0:35.5	today we're talking about things we're glad we did or maybe that we wish we'd
0:40.4	done differently all related to back to school. So if you're maybe new around
0:44.9	here or just new to this series, this is something we've been doing. It's the
0:49.2	third time we've done it. We did glad I did wish I'd done around summer
0:53.5	planning and also around tech and devices. And it's kind of a fun little
0:57.9	construct that allows both of us, Megan, to look back at especially parenting
1:03.4	the little kid years and just be really gentle with ourself of like, oh, that
1:07.8	worked really well. Like high five former me, like, yeah, Sarah, but also like in
1:13.6	retrospect, I'm not sure I would have worried so much about this or I'm not sure
1:17.2	like I would have, you know, done XYZ, maybe a little differently in hindsight.
1:21.8	So it's I think these are really fun. Do you ever have a moment where you're doing
1:26.5	one of these and you honestly get stuck? Like, you're like, is it a glad I did
1:29.6	or is it a wish I'd done? Like I, because sometimes I'll look at something and
