My colleagues and I talk with a lot of groups doing great work. This show

lets us share a bit of what we learn with you so you can discover new projects for your own

philanthropy. As you know, we're spending time this spring and summer unpacking what it means to

be considered on the right these days.

Over the past couple months, now we've explored the different factions and flavors that make

up the right side of the ideological spectrum here in this unique political moment that we are

all living through. We've talked to the free cons and the new right, libertarians, traditionalists,

and fusionists.

Elements of faith have come up some, particularly as we explored the new right and traditionalists.

Well, today we're going to swing decisively more toward the religious side of the right.

Religion and faith traditions have long played a more central role in conservative politics than they have on the progressive side, or at least in more modern times.

And that's particularly been true on the evangelical and Christian side, but also with Catholics and with Jews.

Perhaps that is simply because faith is centered around conserving an idea, a tradition that melds well with conservative ethos.

Whatever the reason, the impact is deep and it's long.

Today, we'll start our exploration of the faith side by talking with conservative Catholics.
