Good morning, people of the Judo de Tali. It's very early on the morning of stage 16, and I've just

woken it from a dream in which I appeared quite clearly to be competing in the 108th, Juno de Tadier,

the oldest rider by some distance in the race, which had a kind of elongated and slightly kind of elemental form,

a throwback to the very earliest grand tours, I think, because it appeared to be almost like the wacky

races, you just had to do the distance in whatever shape or form that you wanted. And I got together

on the rest day with a group of other riders I got a

feeling Luke row was one of them he's very much the patron of our little breakaway group

but there was a young Norwegian rider called a Swarbad or something like that and and I think there was a Danish rider who I'd never heard of

before and someone else who I knew quite well but and me and we were just about to sort of push on

and head out of town when I was on this orange hire bike and I wanted to go back

to get my road bike, which was my road bike from home that I use in London, and I'd left it

propped up by a cafe where we'd done a quick cafe stop and Svarbad and be just shut off down

the hill to go and get my bike. And when we got there, I found out that it had been nicked because I hadn't chained it up.

And it all just got too much and I ended up trying to do the rest of the juror on this

orange city hire bike in and I was just in floods of tears.
