| 0:41.2 | But the thing is it's not that crazy because for most of my life I've totally been part of that 90 percent. |
| 0:47.6 | Now I don't always hate my body. Sometimes I just dislike my body and thankfully more and more |
| 0:53.4 | in the last 10 years or so I've started to actually sometimes like my body occasionally even love it. |
| 0:59.1 | But overall I have truly lost count of the numbers of hours and days and months and years I've |
| 1:04.0 | spent wishing my body was different and I know I'm not alone in this. You know there have been |
| 1:09.5 | some really great body positivity conversations happening lately and I am so grateful for them. |
| 1:14.6 | But I also know that sometimes when people talk about learning to love our bodies the solutions |
| 1:19.2 | they suggest just don't sit well with me. Things like just think about your body differently |
| 1:24.8 | are so much easier said than done it feels like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound. |
| 1:29.6 | Now I am glad that people are suggesting something because we can't keep going like this. |
| 1:34.8 | This is the one body we have. We only get one and we also only get one life and I just don't |
| 1:41.2 | want to spend my one and only life hating my one and only body. There are so many other lovely |
| 1:46.8 | and important things I'd rather be thinking about. But again getting to that place is a lot |
