Joe, thank you for being here. I know you're doing some packing, some prep. You are jetting away to Austin after this. I like that you're going from one hot and arid climate to one hot and humid slash arid, hared climate. Nailed it. Yep. Flawless. I mean, really. It's almost like I didn't write the introduction down, there's no more city in the U.S. It makes me think summer destination spot than Austin. This like two-man game that we're running right now is taking me back to the good old days. I mean, they're not really good old days. They're just different days. They were good. These ones are good too. Where you and I would talk about bread and we would talk about the U.S. men's national team on podcasts together. and we did the first thing off air, where we talked about bread.

This is nostalgic in all the right ways. Had your baking game improved, Joe, since last we discussed bread? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, certainly. I mean, I made it sound like by leaps and bounds. Probably not by leaps and in bounds, but I think I've expanded my repertoire at the very least since then. We took a long break over here from watching Great British Bake Off. That seems to overturned because it's pretty kid-friendly. And there is always the issue of the heat in the tent, Joe. Have you mastered the heat of the Phoenix when it comes to the baking? No, it's hard. I mean, we were chatting. I took a stab. My wife and I had chocolate croissants, pan of chocolate, and they got a little more briochi than I would have intended because the butter melts into the dough because it's hot. It blazes over here. There was a whole discord conversation about heat, which I feel like is my fault. Yeah, it didn't go quite as well as I wanted it to, but at the end of the day, we got recognizable, identifiable chocolate croissants. And really, that's not a bad day. Well, Joe, a quick Google search while you were talking tells me that the Italian version of a croissant is a cornetto, which is also an ice cream. Who knows about that? But Gioreena might soon know about cornetos because Georena might soon be playing in italy uh we're going to be
