Today we are talking about Tesla reaching a preliminary agreement

for a factory in China and the US Federal EV tax credit.

Tesla stock on the day on Wednesday finished down 1.09 to

$318.96. This compared to the Nasdak down 0.55 percent. But on the

week so far Tesla is up about $11.

So we appear to have hopefully bottomed out

from the big drop that we saw after the Q2 delivery report.

While I've been out the last couple of days,

Obviously some big news while I was gone with Tesla signing a preliminary agreement to set

up manufacturing in China. Of course this was an expected announcement but we do have some new details

now though not actually that many new details.

So what do we actually know then?

The biggest piece is that we now have confirmation that this will be wholly owned by

Tesla.

They will not have to operate with a joint venture partner, as every other foreign

automaker has had to do in China so far.
