Going as always my co-s, Nick Falado. I've lost my voice in the last two days, watching a lot of basketball, drinking a lot of beer.

Probably more Nick than I can handle these days. You can't, once you get to this certain age, I think it's like maybe 32, 33 range. You start to, your body just rejects those days that you put in it like yesterday, the day before. Go to a bar. You know, you were there for the first Friday a couple years ago, watch all the games. The same thing back, ran it back yesterday on a Saturday. A lot of beer, a lot of pizza, a lot of heartburn. So I'm here now to discuss the Giants and try to get my voice back. Nick, how was your weekend, buddy? My weekend was good. Just worked a couple of my jobs, met a couple cool people, hung out. I'm not really a big college basketball guy, but I know a big

loss happened that a lot of my friends were talking about with St. John's. I didn't know if that

affected your bracket. I didn't put a bracket together, but what are your brief thoughts on that?

I did not have St. John's going far. I love them during the regular season, but they just didn't

profiles the type of 20 team that I like.

They were 71st in offensive efficiency, despite being one of the best teams during the regular season. That's hard to carry over into the tournament, and it usually almost never works. There was one example, Yukon a while ago. I believe it was Yukon with a bad offensive efficiency, and they ended up winning the title. So they were a team I got out early,

but the big news for me at least was the Badgers didn't show up again in the NCAA tournament.

This has been a lot of years for us where we just don't show up in the NCAA tournament

and we lose to a lower seed.

And this was a good team, Nick.

This was my favorite Badgers team from a regular season since the final four years. They weren't as good as them or anywhere near. Frank Kent. They weren't anywhere near as good as that team, but they were just the most fun team since that team. They ran and gunned and they shot threes. But this podcast is about the Giants. And people want to hear about that, Nick. So let's talk about that.

The Giants have made some moves in the last 72 hours.

There's the big one, which we'll discuss.

They signed Jamis Winston, quarterback, free agent to what's early being reported, Nick.

I don't know if this is going to end up being true as a two-year $8 million deal. So a super cheap deal, bargain-type contract, similar to the range, the giant signed

Tyrod Taylor for two or three, what was that now, four years ago when they brought him in

during the 2020 season, off season. So maybe even cheaper slightly, despite the market going up. I think they got him even cheaper, at least according to this report. They also signed an edge rusher is very intriguing, I think. Victor, I don't know how to pronounce his last name. De Mukagi. De Mukagi, former Duke player, has a little bit of juice off the edge and some numbers to back it up. That one could be very interesting for the Giants. And then a couple guys that could be debt plays, little Jordan Humphrey, uh, and Zach Pascal, two receivers. I think Humphrey at one point was tight end slash receiver. So add some size the end of the line of scrimmage maybe can be, uh, you know, that specialty type player that Chris Mannerts was last year for the Giants,

not to say he won't be as well, just that type of player in certain type of packages.
