It's that time of the year, February. Nick was traveling and now I'm about to be traveling.

This is going to be the last podcast in the month of February that I will be using this microphone for.

So I'll be on the road for the rest of the month at this point. First, the work conference that I'm going to starting tomorrow morning. Then a couple other things that ended like a bachelor party weekend, which is unfortunately the same weekend as the combine, Nick. So I will be missing my first combine ever from just a watching standpoint. So I'll have to be catching up on the phone and through text from you. And then we'll do a recap episode probably

that Monday when I get back. Dan is absolutely devastated about missing the combine because he loves

the underwear Olympics. He's a huge fan of them in underwear. I'll be in the Dominican Republic

on a golf course and an all inclusive instead. So I think I'll be

doing all right. But today's episode, since we haven't talked in a while, it's going to be about

the topic of conversation. And we're going to dive into every single aspect of it. We've touched

on it a little bit earlier in an episode. But today we're going to touch on basically whatever you

can think of when it comes to the idea of

the Matthew Stafford trade rumor trade reports at this point discussions between the Giants

and the Rams with the potential of the Giants trading for Matthew Stafford. We'll talk about

why the Rams would consider doing it. We'll talk about why the Giants will consider doing. We'll talk

about the compensation that Nick and I would be okay with trading for Stafford. We'll talk about the compensation we won't be okay with. We'll talk about the contract and what would come if they were to trade for Matthew Stapper. We'll talk about what that means for the third overall pick. We'll talk about if this is something the giant should be doing in the first place and the kind of 30,000 foot view of all of it.

Essentially, look, you're trading for a 37 year old quarterback.

What does that mean?

Before we do that, we want to touch on why we're talking about this now.

Why we're talking about this now is that things are starting to heat up a little bit.

In the past, we mentioned on an episode, Nick, that this was something that Malik Neighbors tweeted about and talked about with the media at Super Bowl Row. Jermaine Illuminaur tweeted about, Stafford with a goat sign next to him, number nine with the goat side next to him. And it was generally just kind of, you know, Nick, I think just a floated rumor almost.

Weirdly enough, Ethan GSM, shout out Ethan, Gotham Sports Network, created this rumor almost in a sense during last midseason.
