They looked a lot like they did in week 14 against the Eagles.

We thought maybe after week 18 with all the backups and they put such an inspired effort onto the field that things would be different this time around. Well, the Giants had Dory Jackson. They didn't have him for week 14. They had Leonard Williams. They didn't have them for week 14. They had Xavier McKinney. Didn't have them for week 14. The offensive line had been jelling, it felt like, before this game. Now, this is why, to me, Nick, in the NFL, matchups are just so much. They're just everything, right? Like, it's not like the Giants took a step back from a momentum standpoint coming to this game. They just came off such a very big win from momentum standpoint. And from a jelling standpoint on offense, both with the offensive line and the passing game overall, things were only trending up. But in the NFL, matchups are king and they mean everything. And this was not a good matchup for the Giants. They were massively out talented. It looked a lot like the week 14 game. It got off to an even worse start, actually, than the week 14 game with 28 to nothing. Let's start with this game. Eventually, maybe we will naturally work into some other thoughts because I still think this season is a massive success. And there will be a lot of talk about that from us this week, maybe a little bit tonight. But how about this game, Nick? Because it was surprising. I didn't really expect the Giants to win.
