It's the Big Blue Banter, New York Giants Football Podcast. I'm Dan Schneier. I joined as always my co-ist, Nick Flato, and reoccurring guests, Sean Zayed.

This is one of our favorite guests, as you obviously know. I remember a lot of you have talked to

me privately about how much you enjoyed the episode. We did a couple years ago when the

Giants are actually a relevant good football team against the Vikings. This is it for the Giants

at 2 and 4. It's a must-win game by all standards. They're down their left tackle, Andrew Thomas. So we're going to talk to Sean about what this matchup is going to look like with the Philadelphia Eagles, as Sean has dove into more Philadelphia Eagles film, I guess recently, right? Sean, over maybe the last year or so. So first of all, Sean, how are you doing today, my friend? I'm doing well. I'm always excited to be talking to you guys. You know, we've talked

about some Giants Vikings games, the most recent Giants Vikings game, maybe, you know, not the most competitive kind of matchup when you were starting to look at it. But, you know, this one, I think there's a sneaky little bit of mashups. I think the Giants are going to have some sort of

advantage in. So I think this will be a fun one to talk there. We would have felt so much better,

Sean, if Andrew Thomas did not just get placed on the IR. And if it wasn't Josh Azudu starting a

left tackle, but who knows, there could be development that's happened, right? Like, that's what we're all

hoping for at this point. But Sean, I want to start by just asking what's the overall vibe with the Philadelphia Eagles right now I feel like you guys aren't as

highly regarded as you were in just a short time ago and also what's going on with your head coach

yelling at the fans yeah yeah I'm sure giant fans are going to love to hear about oh what was

us for the Philadelphia Eagles the vibes are they're definitely a little bit down you know, I'm sure giant fans are going to love to hear about, oh, what was us for the Philadelphia Eagles? The vibes are, they're definitely a little bit down. You know, I think coming into the season, you start to think, all right, well, is this Nick Suriani kind of like, is this potentially his last year? And it's starting to, you know, it pushes in that direction, kind of just how things have gone, how the kind of collapse happened last year. But there's been, you know, struggles on the offensive side of the ball. Of course, you had a lot of injuries there with Adja Brown getting hurt, with Devante Smith getting hurt early in the season. You have Jalen Hertz having some interceptions, I think really kind of hamstrung the offense at different times. But it's still such a talented roster overall. You know, the defense is young. Of course, you have our good friend Vic Fangio there. They're piecing things together. They, they just have, I think, holes on the roster in different spots, even though they still have kind of high-end talent. And when we talk about the offense, you know, it's just, it things are just too hard for them at times for a team that is that

talented. You bring in Kellan Moore as an offensive coordinator. Now we're facing questions of like, whose offense is it? Is it Suryonis? Is it Moore? Is it Hurts? And like, it's just kind of all them together. So the vibes are really, really weird. Even for a team that, like, at worst, you'd probably have them at second in the NFC East right now even then like you should
